Athlon Sports Forecasts The Summit League

Athlon Sports’ College Basketball preview, now available on newsstands, tabbed North Dakota State as its favorite to win The Summit League title in 2013-14. The publication’s projected bracket placed the Bison as a No. 14 seed opposite Syracuse.

USA Today Previews The Summit League



USA Today’s College Basketball Preview has hit the newsstands. In addition to its Summit League projections, a photo of the 2013 Summit League Championship game tipoff is prominently displayed in the publication’s lead column, titled “It’s OK to Say It: College Basketball is The Best Sport”, by Will Leitch.

Josh Paunil of USA Today Sports previewed The Summit League and picked North Dakota State as league favorite and NDSU’s Taylor Braun as Preseason Player of the Year. He led his analysis by stating that “Despite the graduation of one of the best players in Summit League history in Nate Wolters, the conference could be even more exciting this year with the addition of Denver.”
