SDSU Head Men's Basketball Coach Scott Nagy Goes to Africa with Samaritan's Feet

South Dakota State Head Men's Basketball Coach Scott Nagy teamed-up with Samaritan's Feet again during the 2010-11 season to raise money and shoes for children in Africa, and this past week he followed through on his promise to deliver shoes to the children in Zimbabwe.  Click here to read more.

 

SAAC Wraps Up Annual Meeting in Chicago

The Summit League Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) concluded its seventh annual in-person SAAC meeting in Chicago last weekend. Eighteen student-athletes from 10 of the league's member institutions discussed The Summit League Food Fight initiative, exchanged ideas for improving their campus SAACs and reviewed compliance issues that affect student-athletes. Click here to read more.


SDSU Names Schrage Head Baseball Coach


Veteran college baseball coach Dave Schrage has been hired to take over the reins of the South Dakota State University baseball program, Athletic Director Justin Sell announced.  Schrage, who begins his duties Aug. 8, enters the 2012 season four wins away from reaching 600 for his career.  Click here to read more.

OU's Coriasso Qualifies for U.S. Amateur Championship

Oakland's Michael Coriasso shot a 1-under-par 139 at a qualifying tournament in Cincinnati, Ohio on Camargo Golf Club to qualify for the 2011 United States Amateur Championship. Coriasso, a native of Grand Blanc, Mich., finished third with his scores of 69 and 70.  Click here to read more.

Former SDSU Standout Sargent Signs Pro Deal in Germany

 
Recent South Dakota State graduate and men's basketball standout Clint Sargent signed a contract to play professionally in Germany earlier this week when he came to terms with USC Heidelberg in the German Pro 'A' League.  Click here to read more.
