ORU's Jankovic to Coach With Serbian National Team

Oral Roberts University assistant women’s basketball coach Bojan Jankovic will once again
serve on the coaching staff of the Serbian national team, it was announced today. Jankovic will be an assistant coach for the Serbia team that plays in four tournaments this year, including the 2014 FIBA World Championship in Turkey.

“It’s a tremendous honor to once again represent Serbia and ORU at the highest level of international basketball,” said Jankovic. “We were very successful last year, and I look forward to helping my country achieve even greater accomplishments this season.”

Jankovic was an assistant for Serbia in 2013, helping lead the country to a 4th place finish at the 2013 FIBA European Women’s Championship. The semifinal appearance was the first in Serbia’s history, and it earned the nation a spot in the FIBA World Championship for the first time since 2002.

DU Names Cutler Assistant Women's Golf Coach

Former Princeton head coach Nicki Cutler has been named the new University of Denver women’s golf assistant coach, head coach Lindsay Kuhle announced on Monday. Cutler replaces Erik Billinger, who took the DU men’s head coaching position in June.

“I am so excited to announce that Nicki Cutler will be joining our women’s golf program,” Kuhle said. “Nicki had a wonderful junior, college and professional career and has now been coaching for seven years. She has great experience at the professional and collegiate levels, at top ranked academic and athletic institutions, with Vanderbilt and Princeton. I know she will bring some great ideas to our team, is a hard worker and has tremendous passion for mentoring student-athletes, golf and the city of Denver. I couldn’t be happier to have Nicki onboard and back in Colorado to work with the Pioneers.”

Cutler was a standout junior golfer in the state of Colorado, while playing at Kent Denver and Cherry Creek High School. Kuhle and Cutler competed against eachother in junior and college golf tournaments, playing at Tulane and Vanderbilt, respectively.
