When the Kansas City women's basketball teamvisited Bentwood Elementary in Olathe, Kan., their goal was to help deliver
Dr. Seuss' message, "The more
that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more
places you'll go."
Using their status as role models to the students, the 'Roos helped send the
message by discussing what their favorite books were when they were younger,
while senior forward Kim Nezianya made up a story using clues presented by her 'Roo
teammates.
