Denver's Roas to Compete in German National Championships

University of Denver freshman swimmer Johanna Roas will compete in the German National Championships beginning Thursday and ending May 4 in Berlin, Germany.

Roas will compete on all four days of the event. She will swim the 4 x 100 freestyle relay-mixed gender and the 50 backstroke on the 2^nd,  the 200 backstroke and the 4 x 100 medley relay-mixed gender on the 3^rd and finishes with the 100 backstroke and the 4 x 100 medley relay on the 4^th.

The freshman, who was named to The 2014 Summit League All-League Team, collected four first place finishes at the 2014 conference championships in March. With these wins, Roas broke four league records and garnered two NCAA B Standards.
