Former IUPUI Golfer O'Brien to Participate on Big Break: Florida

Former IUPUI standout Kristi O'Brien has been selected among a cast of 12 women to compete for an LPGA Tour exemption in the upcoming season of Golf Channel's reality series, 'Big Break.'

'Big Break: Florida' will mark the 21st season of the show and will be shot on Amelia Island, Fla.. Filming will take place on Omni Amelia Island Plantation's three courses, Oak Marsh, Ocean Links and Long Point. The show is set to debut on Feb. 24, 2014. 

The prize for this year's cast is an exemption into the 2014 Manulife Financial LPGA Classic (June 5-8) and the winner will also receive exempt status on the Symetra Tour for the 2015 season.
